1/21 Seller has made everything right1/15- Ok yet another update and this may be long since I really really wanted to give the seller the benefit of the doubt. And while they have been very responsive and offered and approved me a 16% refund, I had to be honest about the hair. After talking with the seller the first time, I said to myself, let me give it a chance since the hair did feel soft to the touch and there was no shedding. But the curl pattern was closer to jherri curl. That is what I first noticed and made the very first review. I do know that you need to wet the hair in order to see the potential, so I got out my water bottle, my Ms Jackie Leave in and Detangler and wet her down. The curls loosened slightly but I noticed how thin the ends were. It was definitly not full when wet. The hair is thick at the base of the tracks and then they taper off into literally strands. I let it air dry and even tho it wasnt the curl pattern I wanted when ordered, as they dried the curls were well defined. Unless you know how to style curly hair, you will not get that bouncy weightless curl, because the roots are so much thicker than the ends, I had to use my fingers to lift it at the root alot and shake my head around. I went out that night to a dinner party and put the wig on a wig stand. After speaking with the seller very early this morning, I thought nothing of it until this evening when I was just going to give it to my daughter. Well in the full light of day you see that this particular unit was not constructed with care. Where the "13 *4" meets the back is all unaligned and uneven on one side. I put the frontal size in quotations, because even going down the middle, I have maybe 2.5 inches from hair line to where the tracks ABRUPTLY STOPS. Theres a slight hump there. If I wanted to put small braids like one of the photos posted, it would be a no go since my size have about 1.5 inches of parting space. I didnt feel as soft as when I got it out of the package and before the cowash. It felt kinda stiff. I sprayed some water and used a small amount of curl cream and the hair felt silky again while damp. I let her air dry, headed to post office and graocery store and by the time I was home the hair was Tangled, not at the ends where the curls were still defined, but at the top by the roots. I literally could not hand detangle it. It makes me think this is def a blend of some sort. It is not day two of me in the wig and I havent slept in and it is literally and afro. They may have had great quality hair when the 5 star reviews were posted a couple of years ago.....but that is not what I received. So my below update is null and void. I def give this a 2.....and only a 2 because the seller responded fast. I know since I cut and wore the unit I cant retun it, just wanted to save someone else the trouble. I’ve updated my rating to 5! Although the hair was not the texture I wanted- the seller was sooooooo helpful and responsive! They asked me great questions and also wanted to make sure i was happy. They answered all my questions fast and accurately and worked to make everything right! I will be purchasing again because they hair was very soft and full. It was just too curly but they hair quality is fantastic!!I wanted a texture more like what’s shown in the photo. The one sent to me was more of a Jerry curl which is not the look I was going for. The lace is bomb tho. If I wanted a tighter curl this wig would be cute. Little on the thin side but the tighter curl makes it blend ok.
